A legacy family unites with supply chain revolutionaries for both virtual and physical INDYCAR racing.

Surgere is excited to announce a partnership with Andretti Autosport for the 2020 NTT INDYCAR SERIES. They will serve as a primary sponsor of Andretti Herta Autosport’s No. 98 car during the INDYCAR iRACING CHALLENGE at Barber Motorsports Park April 4, and again for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in August.

“We’re proud to be part of the Andretti team. They embody the very attributes we strive for, creating success through teamwork, endeavoring to be a learning organization, committing to caring, and constantly seeking improvement,” said Surgere President and CEO William Wappler.

Raving fans can get a look at Surgere’s sponsored car in action, with Marco Andretti behind the wheel, by joining in on the fast-paced action during the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio from August 7-9. But, if that’s not soon enough, fans can join the world of e-sports and check out the No. 98 Surgere car via the INDYCAR iRACING CHALLENGE from the virtual Barber Motorsports Park broadcast Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET via INDYCAR.com.

Expect performance that matters.

As the leaders in supply chain visibility, we’re excited about the new opportunities and possibilities these types of partnerships open up, not to mention we’re huge fans of the sport ourselves and can’t wait to share the experience with our clients!

For us, when we look at an INDYCAR, we see its anatomy—the gears, vents, fittings, axles, etc. that create it and the science that powers it. It’s no secret that putting together the world’s fastest car is not an easy feat, let alone managing all the parts and associated data. Andretti’s race day strategy is critical and relies on accurate data. Similarly, Surgere’s automotive clients require visibility to the over 2,000 components and 30,000 necessary parts to assemble a finished vehicle. By implementing the Surgere solution, clients gain the data they need to produce the advanced analytics and automation vital for supply chain success.

“We’re really excited to welcome Surgere to the Andretti team and excited to be able to represent them both in the e-sports world with iRacing this weekend as well as physically on track in August,” said Andretti Autosport chairman and CEO, Michael Andretti. “Our sport is in a unique time, but the opportunity for growth and exposure in new ways is stronger than ever and we’re really happy to have Surgere along for the ride.”

The Surgere team is looking forward to deepening the relationship with the Andretti family and seeing its raving fans embrace the world of racing.
