South Carolina Automotive SummitWhere Connectivity Happens
The 6th Annual SC Automotive Summit: Where Connectivity Happens takes place February 20th – 22nd during the SC Auto Week. The event will shine light on South Carolina’s bright future in mobility.

With commitment to draw new talent to automotive manufacturing, students, parents, teachers, and counselors will have opportunities to tour plants and to gain insight to best practices, innovations and career opportunities afforded by this industry. The SC Auto Week is a public celebration of South Carolina’s innovative automotive industry.
Surgere will be present to share insights on Industry 4.0 and will also be present as a resource to discuss industry challenges, questions, and strategies.

We are happy to announce that William Wappler has been invited to speak to the impact that Industry 4.0 and supply chain management technology will have on the automotive industry. The session titled, “Industry 4.0: SMART Factories and Big Data Transformation” will include other industry thought-leader companies like IBM Watson, BMW Group, Sage Automotive Interiors, and Clemson University.
Wappler will take attendees on a connected and data driven experience, exploring use cases leveraging operational technologies to follow and learn from asset data and movement throughout the supply chain. As a global supply chain authority, his latest mission is to challenge the status quo of automotive practice and strive for better data. Without visibility and control of mobile assets, companies will not be able to get to Auto i4.0 and experience the power that comes with IIot.
During SC Automotive Week business professionals will have several extraordinary opportunities for one-on-one business prospecting events, access to future innovations never before revealed, and exposure to robot solutions from nationally recognized speakers.
