Retail and Consumer Goods Supply Chain Solutions
Accurate data from the supplier to warehouse the back of the store, across every distribution center you own or outsource.

An order is only as accurate as its last handoff
Materials and components arrive from suppliers, a distribution center builds the retail order, and a truck delivers it to the back of the store. Along the way the product passes between your team, your suppliers, your carriers and very often a 3PL, and every handoff depends on someone scanning the right thing at the right moment.
When a scan is missed or inventory varies from what’s expected, confusion arises and your end customer may not be able to buy their long-awaited item. Surgere’s 99.9% physical world accuracy captures every inbound and outbound dock door movement, truck reconciliation, packing / WIP zone activity, and cycle count with truth that aligns and integrates to your enterprise systems, avoiding common challenges like:
- ASN disputes and compliance chargebacks. The retailer or store location receives something different from what the advance ship notice promised.
- Cycle counts disagree with the WMS, so people walk the aisles to verify what the data should already confirm.
- Blind spots inside 3PL buildings. Your inventory sits in a facility you don’t run, on a system you don’t own, reported on a schedule you don’t control.
- Returnable assets that leave and never come back. Pallets, totes, RPCs and display fixtures disappear into the network.
- Promotions that miss the window. A seasonal load or display that reaches the store late is a sale that never happens.

Where Surgere works across the retail and consumer goods network
- Supplier inbound. Confirm that components, packaging and co-packed goods arrive complete and on time, with supplier performance recorded from physical events instead of paperwork.
- Production and finished goods. Follow work in process through the plant and confirm every finished pallet is built, labeled and staged correctly before it ships.
- Shipment and ASN verification. Validate every case and pallet against the order as it is loaded, so the ASN matches the trailer and the retailer receives exactly what was billed.
- DC and 3PL inventory. Locate finished goods inside owned and 3PL-operated distribution centers, held to the same 99.9% standard across every building in the network.
- Yard and dock. Know which trailers are loaded, which are waiting and how long each has been sitting, so dock doors turn faster and detention costs stay in check.
- Returnable transport items. Follow pallets, totes, RPCs, racks and display fixtures through the full loop, from DC to store and back, so the pool is sized to real cycle times rather than replacement orders.
- Back-of-store delivery. Close the loop with confirmed receipt at the store’s back door, which gives you physical evidence when a shortage or chargeback is disputed.
- Packaging specifications. Manage packaging specs with suppliers in one place through Pack Spec, so packaging engineers spend less time chasing email and more time on design.
