For the golfers watching - we were at the International Warehouse Logistics Association's 2026 Convention and & Expo in San Antonio at the La Cantera Resort. Each year they start the event with a tournament. How well did we play? Watch to see 🤭

Despite my best efforts I couldn't him to spill the tea, no number of drinks from the beverage cart could get him to slip up, but let’s just say… something new is coming to warehouse operations.

Day 1️⃣ Highlights from International Warehouse Logistics Association Convention and Expo in San Antonio

The day opened with a powerful keynote from Clint Bruce, setting the tone for leadership and performance, followed by a timely general session with Scott Cornell of LogistIQ Insurance Solutions on the growing impact of cargo theft and ways to stop it.

The day concluded with the Groovy Spy Rendezvous Networking Reception by the pool sponsored by Made4net. Yeah baby!

Day 2️⃣ Highlights from International Warehouse Logistics Association 2026 IWLA Convention & Expo

The day began with the opening general session, Marketing: Possible, led by Kara Smith Brown of LeadCoverage, who put on a great performance full of GTM insights and an equal number of laughs!

I also caught up with Aaron Alpeter, who provided an insightful update on ecommerce, TikTok, and agentic AI are changing the game on the sales side.

#WarehousingAfterDark Co-host Kevin Lawton, CLTD took the stage to share key learnings from The New Warehouse podcast regarding tech selection and adoption for 3PLs.

During the Women of Warehousing panel, Kara Smith Brown hosted a chat with Samantha Hubbard, Natalie Ceva, and Tracy DiAngelo. The conversation offered valuable perspectives on leadership, mentorship, and the evolving role of women in the industry.
